Brady W. Mills

Brady is a Partner in the firm’s International Trade practice. He has extensive experience in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and appears regularly before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Brady also has significant experience in antidumping and countervailing duty litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Brady has represented clients in various industries, including the steel, paper, and chemical industries, in South Korea, Taiwan, France, the Netherlands, Canada, Vietnam, and China. Brady also has experience in assisting clients with customs-related issues, including Enforce and Protect Act and Forced Labor investigations and resulting litigation.

Brady has been actively involved in pro-bono work, including his previous representation of an Alabama death row inmate whose case reached the U.S. Supreme Court.

• Representing a major global lumber producer in the countervailing duty administrative review of Softwood Lumber from Canada at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• Representing a foreign government in the countervailing duty investigations of Steel Propane Cylinders, Wooden Cabinets & Vanities, Fabricated Structural Steel, Steel Kegs, and Steel Wheels from that country conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• Representing one of the largest Canadian fabricated structural steel producers in the countervailing duty investigation of Fabricated Structural Steel from Canada at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• Representing multiple foreign flat-rolled steel and steel pipe producers in appeals before the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Represented a foreign stainless steel flange industry at the U.S. International Trade Commission.
• Representing a provincial government in Canada in countervailing duty proceedings at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
• Represented a foreign corrosion-resistant steel producer in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
