Bailey Sanders

Bailey focuses her practice on commercial litigation, representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes involving contracts, real estate, oil and gas, antitrust, land use, and other business matters. She draws on substantial litigation experience and a deep understanding of federal court procedure developed through multiple federal judicial clerkships.

Before joining the firm, Bailey served as a law clerk to numerous judges, including the Hon. Kimberly A. Jolson, the Hon. Elizabeth A. Preston Deavers, and the Hon. Edmund J. Sargus, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. In these roles, she conducted extensive legal research and drafted opinions addressing complex constitutional, statutory, and procedural issues, while advising judges on pending motions and case management. Her experience managing hundreds of cases has given her valuable insight into federal litigation and judicial decision-making.

Bailey earned her law degree, cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she participated in the Defense and Prosecution Clinics and served as a Staff Editor and Online Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal. She also previously interned with the Department of Justice, analyzing matters involving international legal assistance. Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Washington and Lee University.
