
Summary
Austin is an attorney in Taft’s Cleveland office in the Employment and Labor Relations practice. He has experience with employment discrimination cases, state and federal wage and hour laws, and the WARN ACT.
Prior to joining Taft, Austin was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where his practice focused on complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Bridget Meehan Brennan, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Austin earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in sociology and political science from The College of Wooster. While in law school, Austin served as an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and an Associate Problem Editor for the Moot Court Board and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
