Summary
Anthony is a patent attorney in Taft’s Columbus office and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). His practice includes U.S. and foreign patent procurement, patent opinions – freedom-to-operate and patentability, portfolio management, technology development and commercialization, technology transactions, and trademark clearance and prosecution. Anthony counsels clients, both small and large, develop and understand optimal strategies for IP protection in a wide variety of industries, including biological sciences, biotechnology, medical devices, manufacturing, and the mechanical and electrical arts.
Anthony earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from The Ohio State University.
