Summary
Anna is an attorney in Taft’s Energy practice group. Her practice focuses on advising utilities, independent power producers, and developers on a wide range of regulatory, siting, and project development matters, with a particular emphasis on large-scale renewable energy and electric generation projects in Ohio.
Earlier in her career, Anna served as an administrative law judge at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Ohio Power Siting Board, where she managed complex dockets involving electric, gas, power siting, transportation, and telecommunications matters.
Drawing on this prior experience and longstanding regulatory relationships, Anna regularly provides practical guidance to energy generation developers and other clients at every stage of their projects, from initial site evaluation through permitting, construction, and ongoing operations.
She has assisted in the development and permitting of solar farms and gas-fired electric generation facilities in Ohio, totaling more than 1,400 megawatts, and has counseled data centers on the feasibility of on-site generation projects. Anna also has extensive experience litigating energy development and submetering matters before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Ohio Power Siting Board.
Anna received her J.D., cum laude, from Capital University Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Curia. She earned her B.A., cum laude and with honors, from The Ohio State University.
Prior to joining Taft, Anna worked at an AmLaw 200 firm located in Columbus, Ohio.
