Summary

Andy has more than 20 years working in publicly traded consumer product companies, and most recently, prior to joining Sherman & Howard, he worked at a consulting firm advising both privately owned and publicly traded companies in the areas of financial planning and analysis, finance transformation, and M&A integration.

Andy has a track record of creating value for businesses by building FP&A processes, capabilities, and tools around reporting and analysis. He has experience in financial planning, modeling, short- and long-term liquidity forecasting, functional business partnering, and delivering key insights to business leaders to drive decision making. He also has expertise in strategic business support in areas of cost optimizations, revenue management, budget management, including zero-based budgeting, and business case analysis.

Additionally, he has directed various finance transformation initiatives that have raised the performance of accounting and finance departments as well as improved profitability by building high-performing teams, driving more effective financial processes, and leveraging data and systems.

He has broad experience with M&A transactions and has led many phases of the M&A cycle for his previous companies, primarily around valuation, financial due diligence, and post-M&A finance integration. Prior to joining the firm, Andy spent nearly twenty years at a globally recognizable beverage company in numerous finance roles, including his last role as the CFO of the International division.

Andy is a CPA and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Indiana University Bloomington.
