Amie Allison

Amie develops and implements business development and marketing programs to drive client development opportunities and growth for Taft’s Minneapolis office. She provides corporate communication support to Taft’s attorneys and supports the firm’s strategic marketing and business development goals.

Through a collaborative approach, Amie’s main areas of responsibility include:

• Developing and implementing marketing activities for the Minneapolis office, including sponsorships, events, sports and entertainment, local advertising, promotional needs, and other corporate communication initiatives.
• Providing business development support to the Energy, Finance, and Bankruptcy and Restructuring practices.
• Drafting copy for practice descriptions, brochures, biographies, proposal responses, and other documents.
• Assisting with annual individual attorney and practice group business development plans.
• Managing practice and office budgets.
• Building and maintaining media and community relations.
• Assisting with ranking, recognition, and nomination activities

Prior to joining Taft, Amie was a marketing manager for a well-known regional law firm in Minneapolis where she provided overall business development and marketing leadership and support for multiple attorneys. Amie earned her B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota.
