Summary
Allison represents real estate developers, institutional investors, corporations, commercial lenders, REITs, and private equity investors in a variety of complex real estate development, finance, leasing, and land use matters. Allison’s practice encompasses real estate development, zoning and entitlements, real estate finance, and large-scale commercial transactions nationwide.
Allison advises clients across all market sectors, including mixed-use, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, digital infrastructure, energy, and infrastructure. Her work spans the full land development process, from site selection, due diligence, and entitlements to acquisition, financing, and development, and then through construction, leasing, and disposition.
Allison regularly leads multidisciplinary teams on high-value development and infrastructure projects. She has served as lead counsel on nationally significant transactions and projects, including major public-private partnership (P3) infrastructure initiatives, transportation projects, utility-scale renewable energy and solar deployments, and large-scale logistics and data center developments. She brings particular depth in zoning, comprehensive planning, property rights, government relations, and the navigation of complex local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks.
Real Estate Finance. Allison represents lenders and borrowers in commercial mortgage financings and refinancings, including multi-property portfolio loans and multistate collateral packages. She regularly serves as counsel on institutional financings secured by multistate hospitality and commercial assets. In addition to her project development work, Allison serves as lead counsel on REIT transactions involving national real estate portfolios, advising on both acquisitions and dispositions. She counsels clients on real estate due diligence and on portfolio optimization and integration in connection with major M&A transactions.
Class A Office and Marquee Project Leasing. Allison represents corporate tenants in Class A office leasing in high-rise buildings in major U.S. markets, for which she handles the negotiation and management of new leases, expansions, and renewals. She also counsels developers on the ground leases, development agreements, and recorded covenants behind new major market office tower development and marquee mixed-use and sports-anchored projects throughout the U.S.
Data Centers and Digital Infrastructure. Allison advises data center developers and operators on the full development life cycle. This includes build-to-suit and powered-shell leases, yield-on-cost rent structures with purchase options, and the allocation of power delivery and utility interconnection risk. It also includes GPU colocation and AI infrastructure services agreements. She is a member of Taft’s Data Centers, Digital Infrastructure, and Powering AI practice.
Project Finance. Allison represents lenders and developers in the financing of major energy projects and data center developments. Her work spans utility scale power generation and energy storage, renewable energy portfolios, and the power and digital infrastructure behind large scale data center campuses. Her work structures and negotiates the real estate collateral and site development upon which these financings depend, including managing the transactional and land use components of multistate collateral packages.
A Florida native, Allison has played a formative role in shaping the region’s growth through her work on some of its most transformative development projects.
