Summary

Adam is a member of Taft’s Commercial Litigation practice. He practices primarily in the areas of:

  • Commercial litigation and corporate dispute resolution;
  • Employment litigation and counseling;
  • Commercial real estate and landlord/tenant litigation; and
  • Banking and finance litigation.

Business Litigation and Corporate Dispute Resolution

Adam represents individual and corporate clients in various corporate/commercial disputes, including matters involving corporate governance, shareholder and partnership disputes, and general contract claims. Adam has successfully litigated cases through motion practice, trial and appeals.

Employment Litigation and Counseling

Adam advises and represents employers in a variety of employment litigation in state and federal court, including matters relating to Title VII, the Minnesota Human Rights Act (and other states’ anti-discrimination statutes), FMLA, ADA, and FLSA. Adam also represents individual and corporate clients in matters relating to trade secrets, employment agreements, and fiduciary duties.

Commercial Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant Litigation

Adam represents commercial landlords in various litigation matters to enforce contractual and statutory rights and remedies.

Banking and Finance Litigation

Adam has successfully defended and prosecuted various matters on behalf of large and mid-sized banks.

Adam graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, summa cum laude, in 2015, where he served as an editor of the William Mitchell Law Review, externed for the Honorable Tony N. Leung in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and represented William Mitchell in the New York Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition.

While in law school, Adam worked for the Minnesota Public Defender’s Appellate Office writing post-conviction petitions and appellate briefs. In that role, Adam was able to appear in both district court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
