Summary

Abe is a partner in Taft’s Chicago office and focuses his practice on all aspects of business law, with a specific focus on venture capital transactions. With experience representing start-ups, emerging growth stage companies and mature businesses, Abe helps a variety of privately held and public companies to successfully navigate the complexities of legal matters. His work includes matters related to entity formation, debt and equity financing, contracts, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Taft, Abe was an associate at a boutique corporate and intellectual property firm. He has also served as corporate counsel for an international real estate development group in Chicago.

Abe received his J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served as an associate editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Moot Court Honor Society. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology, summa cum laude, from DePaul University.
