Verhalen Named a 2021 Women in Business Honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal
Taft Minneapolis Partner Kodi Verhalen has been named an honoree in the fourth round of the 2021 Women in Business by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
With hundreds of impressive nominations for the 24th annual Women in Business awards, the selection process was difficult. Recipients were chosen for their outstanding professional achievements, leadership qualities, and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community.
The 2021 Women in Business honorees will be recognized during a high-profile luncheon at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot on Monday, Oct. 18.

Verhalen is a partner in the Energy and Utilities practice group. She is also licensed as a professional engineer in Minnesota and served as the 2016-2017 president of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) – a 31,000-member organization. Verhalen was the youngest person, and the third woman, in the NSPE’s history to hold the office of president. She has established an impressive reputation in the industry and is widely regarded as a top-notch lawyer and key business driver in the firm.
