Urbanize Atlanta recently published a feature offering an early look at the long-anticipated Yellow Store redevelopment. The English Avenue landmark is now one step closer to breaking ground, thanks in part to Taft Atlanta’s community partnership.

At Cheers, Taft Atlanta’s annual fundraiser last month, the firm raised more than $32,000 for Westside Future Fund (WFF), the nonprofit leading the adaptive-reuse project. The funding will directly support WFF in transforming the century-old Yellow Store into a mixed-use community hub that honors the neighborhood’s history while expanding access to fresh food, retail, and quality housing.

Urbanize Atlanta details WFF’s vision for the Yellow Store, which includes ground-floor retail space, a courtyard and patio designed for community gathering, and four upgraded affordable apartments on the second floor.

Taft Atlanta is proud to support partners like Westside Future Fund, whose work strengthens Atlanta neighborhoods and advances equitable development across the city.
