Tucker Quoted in Cincinnati Business Courier
Columbus partner-in-charge Janica Pierce Tucker was recently quoted in the Cincinnati Business Courier article, “More Modern Metrics: MIVIE’s Goal is to Improve the Workplace and Corporate Behavior,” published on Aug. 4. The article highlights the Marginalized Impact Value Indicator for Inequity (MIVIE), a measurement tool that measures companies’ DEI policies and their social impact on communities.
When asked about MIVIE, Tucker stated, “there’s nothing on the market where all of this [data] is in one place.” Tucker went on to add that it “would be great if there was truly comparative data where companies felt comfortable in providing this information to this database that would then spit out, ‘here is the trend in this area.’”
Tucker represents clients in all aspects of employment and labor law. She is also active in civil trial, appellate litigation, and commercial litigation. In addition, she is a member of Taft’s Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of Taft’s firm wide Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
