Three Taft Attorneys Recognized as 2021 Notable Rising Stars in Law

Amarilio is a member of Taft’s Litigation practice group focusing on civil appellate litigation and deploying critical motions. He has experience representing individuals, small businesses, state and local governments and a number of Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts, primarily the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Babbitt represents municipalities, corporations and public utilities in complex litigation. She regularly advises clients in matters prior to the filing of a lawsuit and manages cases through trial and appeals. Babbitt also advises businesses regarding employment discrimination, unfair business practices, trade secrets, restrictive employment covenants and civil rights violations. She is a member of Taft’s Executive Committee.

Saeedi focuses his practice on issues relating to employment law and unfair competition. He represents clients nationwide in the realm of trade secret theft, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and breaches of fiduciary duties. In addition, he helps companies conduct complex internal investigations regarding intellectual property theft, and computer fraud and data privacy issues, including matters related to biometric information and compliance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.
