Taft Cleveland partner Adrian Thompson is quoted in the Crain’s Cleveland Business article “Ruling on race-based admissions may set back efforts to diversify the legal field,” published on July 13, 2023. The article discusses how the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling striking down race-based admissions in higher education may undermine efforts to improve women and minority representation in the legal profession.
Thompson provides counsel for private sector clients on employment and labor issues. Co-partner-in-charge of the Cleveland office, he is also a member of the firm’s executive and participation committees and serves as Taft’s chief diversity officer. He helps to drive the firm’s commitment and strategy regarding diversity and inclusion across Taft’s offices.
