Taft Columbus partner Dave Thomas served as a faculty member for the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) Second Annual Diversity Trial Advocacy Program, held in Chicago May 5-7, 2023.

Thomas is an ACTL Fellow. The ACTL comprises preeminent members of the trial bar from the United States and Canada and is a leading organization for trial lawyers in both countries.

ACTL is committed to developing the next generation of diverse and inclusive trial advocates. This program, organized by the ACTL Teaching of Trial and Appellate Advocacy Committee, strives to build faith, trust, and belief in the civil justice system.
