Taft Relocates Atlanta Office, Deepening Its Investment in the Market

Taft, one of the nation’s fastest-growing law firms, today announced that its Atlanta office has relocated to Two Alliance Center in the heart of Buckhead. Taft entered the Atlanta market at the start of the year through its merger with Morris, Manning & Martin, which had been based in the city for nearly 50 years. The new office gives the firm room for the growth it expects in Atlanta, where it plans to have more than 150 lawyers within three to five years.

Two Alliance Center is part of the Alliance Center campus, a walkable complex of office towers next to the Buckhead MARTA station. Taft’s space was designed by architecture firm ASD|SKY to give the firm’s growing Atlanta team a modern, collaborative place to work.

Highlights of the new office include:

  • A dramatic two-story lobby with an open staircase connecting reception to the spacious and inviting Social Hub, offering a broad range of gathering spaces for lawyers and professionals, as well as flexible event spaces for clients and other guests.
  • Prominent building-top signage.
  • Private offices with premium furnishings and workstations, including height-adjustable desks, creating a comfortable and flexible work environment for all.
  • A variety of huddle rooms and small-to-medium conference rooms, along with a small café/library, designed to facilitate small-group collaboration and provide a range of alternative workspaces for lawyers and professional staff.
  • Bright spaces with abundant natural light and expansive views.

“Moving into our new office as Taft is a milestone for our Atlanta team, and we’re looking forward to welcoming clients and the business community here,” said Wyatt Kendall, co-partner-in-charge of Taft’s Atlanta office. “The space gives our lawyers more ways to work with each other and with the people we serve, which has always been at the heart of what we do.”

“This move reflects the strength we see in Atlanta and our confidence in the market’s future,” said Lauren Prevost, co-partner-in-charge of Taft’s Atlanta office. “We have an exceptional team here, and this new space gives us the capacity and flexibility to continue growing while creating an even stronger experience for our clients, lawyers and professionals.”

Taft has been investing in offices across its national footprint. The firm opened a new office in New York earlier this year and recently relocated its Cincinnati, Dayton, and Albuquerque offices, with moves in West Palm Beach and Phoenix to follow. Expansions and office buildouts are also underway in Washington, D.C., and Denver, with more office projects planned through 2027.

“We’re excited to have a new, modern space that reflects our commitment to Atlanta, which is a major gateway to the Southeast for our clients and a key market for Taft,” said Robert J. Hicks, Taft’s firmwide chairman and managing partner. “We look forward to continuing to grow the Atlanta office and strengthening how we serve clients throughout the region.”

Following the completion of three mergers in 2025, Taft now has more than 1,250 lawyers across 25 offices nationwide with revenues exceeding $1 billion.
