Taft Partnership with IPS 58 Featured in The Indiana Lawyer
Taft’s partnership with Ralph Waldo Emerson School (IPS 58) through the United Way of Central Indiana was featured in the article “Taft employees volunteer time, funds for IPS 58 students,” which was published by The Indiana Lawyer on June 26. Since 2011, Taft has donated more than $1 million to help fund an after school program and other academic initiatives at the school. In addition, Taft attorneys and staff volunteer at the school working with the students and teachers in a variety of ways.
In addition to the firm’s ongoing partnership with IPS 58, in 2018, Taft expanded its campaign to sponsor life-changing microgrants through the Centers for Working Families (CWF). Taft pledged support of the Breaking Barriers Grant Program to help put Central Indiana’s most vulnerable neighbors on the path to financial stability.
