Taft Land Use Team Secures Historic Preservation Incentive Package in Chicago
Taft is pleased to have served as legal counsel to Experiential Capital Group, securing approvals for a $10 million incentive package from the City of Chicago. The incentives include the Class L Property Tax designation and an Adopt-a-Landmark grant. These measures will support the historic rehabilitation and reactivation of the long-vacant and dormant Mid-City National Bank building, a designated Chicago Landmark, into a boutique, neighborhood-based hotel.
The Taft team was led by Chicago Partner Liz Butler.
