Taft Continues to Grow with Addition of Friedman in Chicago

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP welcomes Jeffrey M. Friedman as a partner in the firm’s Business & Finance practice group. Friedman will join more than 100 attorneys in Taft’s Chicago office.

With a strong background in taxation and business, Friedman advises clients on legal and business issues covering capital structure, transaction strategy and corporate governance. After starting his career at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, he has worked at some the largest law firms in addition to having served as general counsel for a student housing developer. Drawing on these experiences and sharing in his clients’ entrepreneurial passion, Friedman provides practical and legal counsel by working closely with his clients enabling them to make sound decisions.

“Joining Taft allows me to best serve my clients by providing client-friendly rates and tapping into Taft’s firmwide resources and knowledge base of more than 470 attorneys across the U.S.,” shares Friedman. “I look forward to expanding my practice and continuing to serve my clients as a partner here.”

Friedman received his Juris Doctor degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Master of Laws in taxation from the New York University School of Law. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business and bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
