Taft Continues Growth in Chicago, Adding Three Private Client Lawyers

Taft, one of the fastest-growing law firms in the nation, announced today that partners Jared Dodd, Jessica Quintero, and associate Ali Ahmed have joined the Private Client practice in the firm’s growing Chicago office.

They are among the more than 35 lateral attorneys who have joined Taft’s Chicago office in 2025, where the firm’s attorney headcount has crossed 190.

His clients include entrepreneurs, corporate executives, business owners, financial industry professionals, and family offices, as well as athletes, entertainers, and philanthropists. He works closely with accounting, investment, business, and tax advisers to understand his clients’ personal objectives and to identify opportunities to implement sophisticated planning techniques to preserve family wealth for future generations by maximizing available income and transfer tax benefits.

Quintero advises clients on complex estate planning and wealth planning, as well as estate and trust administration, and business succession planning. She works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to craft customized wealth transfer and business success solutions.

“It’s exciting to continue expanding our practice, where we’re seeing tremendous demand from clients in this space across the country,” Richard O. “The arrival of Jared, Jessica and Ali really helps deepen our Private Client team in Chicago, which is an important part of our sophisticated national practice,” said Paul Jenson, Partner-in-Charge of Taft’s Chicago office.
