The Columbus Board of Education selected Taft as its independent legal counsel to lead its Superintendent Search, as reported by The Columbus Dispatch on May 15.
Taft was selected from a field of 40 firms who competed through a formal process. The field was narrowed to three firms, with Taft ultimately being selected by the Board.
Taft has a long history of representing public sector entities, including schools and municipalities. Taft attorneys Janica Pierce Tucker, Rita McNeil Danish, Adam C. Miller and Carolyn A. Davis will lead the effort for the Board.
