Taft is pleased to announce that Allison N. Smith and David Haba have joined the Cleveland office.

Smith served as a summer associate at Taft Cleveland in 2018 and 2019. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2019 and a bachelor’s degree in medicine, health and society from Vanderbilt University in 2016. She will focus her practice on the representation of hospitals, physician groups and other health care organizations regarding the regulatory, transactional and business aspects of health care law.

Haba served as a summer associate at Taft Cleveland in 2018. He received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2019 and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies from the University of Dayton in 2015. Haba joins the Real Estate practice group and will focus his practice on the representation of regional and national commercial real estate clients in transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of real property.

Smith and Haba were administered the oath by the Ohio Supreme Court on November 12, 2019.
