Taft Attorney Robert McDonald Honored as Business Courier's Forty Under 40
CINCINNATI, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Robert McDonald is among those honored with the Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 Award for 2012. The Forty Under 40 program was started in 1995 to identify and recognize the Tri-State’s up-and-coming business, community and economic leaders.
Robert McDonald is an attorney in the Business & Finance Practice Group at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Rob’s practice at Taft is focused on corporate, securities, venture capital, and sports law work. He assists both private and public company clients with a variety of corporate and securities related matters, including mergers and acquisitions and offerings of securities. Mr. McDonald also assists start-up and emerging companies through business formation, early-stage investments, and other issues that face entrepreneurial businesses.
McDonald serves as a Co-founder and Board Member of The Brandery, as the Chair of the Boy Scout’s Professional Leadership Network, as a Board and Executive Team Member of the Dan Beard Council (Boy Scouts of America), and as the Co-Chair of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Encore Committee. McDonald is a graduate of C-Change, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber leadership development program. With The Brandery team, McDonald was the winner of the 2012 Association for Corporate Growth Dealmaker Award in the Service Provider category.
McDonald received his bachelor’s degree in public policy with a minor in political science and markets and management from Duke University. McDonald earned his Juris Doctorate at Washington University School of Law. During his last term of law school, he worked full-time in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He currently resides in Mt. Adams.
