Sealing the Deal: Professionalism in the Transactional Practice
Taft partners Michael H. Diamant, Missia H. Vaselaney and Charles A. Bowers have been actively involved in preparing the Dec. 11 CLE program “Sealing the Deal: Professionalism in the Transactional Practice,” presented by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Civility & Professionalism Task Force. The program strives to deliver a professionalism CLE that is entertaining, engaging, thought-provoking and instructive.
Diamant is a member of the CMBA committee that wrote and prepared a video of pertinent scenario scripts for the program. Vaselaney and Bowers acted out one of the recorded scenarios for this unique CLE program, which is designed to enhance attorney professionalism employed in the transactional practice.
After viewing clips from movies and staged and real video clips of thorny ethical issues that frequently arise in transactions, the judge and attorney panel, accompanied by audience participation, will answer questions electronically as a group, discuss the results of the voting and explore ethical and professional issues that lawyers may encounter in these transactions.
The program offers 2.5 hours Professional Conduct CLE. For more information or to register, visit here.
