Schuck and Seitz Involved in House Bill 483
The legislative committee and the officers of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio (PLSO) and VanMeter, Ashbrook & Associates were able to successfully insert language drafted by Taft Stettinius & Hollister into House Bill 483. This bill, along with others, deals with mid-biennium budget issues recently considered by the Ohio legislature. PLSO has made numerous efforts over the years to successfully establish the Statute of Limitations, and the language has been completed for a number of years awaiting the opportunity to act. Taft partner Thomas R. Schuck led Taft’s involvement and Taft attorney and Sen. William J. Seitz III championed the effort on behalf of PLSO and Ohio surveyors.
