Rutledge Authored U.S. Chamber of Commerce Amicus Brief Featured by CPR Institute

Taft attorney Peter “Bo” Rutledge was credited in the recently released International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, Inc. (CPR) Preview, Jules @ SCOTUS: Amicus Supports a Federal Arbitration Act ‘Jurisdictional Anchor.’ The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s amicus brief supports the respondents and urges the Supreme Court to hold that a federal court that stayed litigation pending arbitration retains jurisdiction to confirm or vacate the resulting award. Counsel of record on the brief, Rutledge is a former Supreme Court clerk, senior counsel in Taft‘s Atlanta office, former dean of the University of Georgia School of Law, and a longtime leader in Supreme Court arbitration jurisprudence, underscoring the brief’s expertise and credibility.
