Taft Chicago partner Lauren Rankins has been named to “40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch” by Law Bulletin, publisher of Chicago Lawyer magazine and the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. The annual list highlights exceptional up-and-coming attorneys in the state of Illinois. Honorees have shown passion and success in their field, a commitment to serving their community, and a strong work ethic.

Rankins represents various entities involved in private and public construction projects, including owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, through all aspects of construction law, including contract review and negotiation, project management, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation. She is a frequent writer and speaker on construction topics and is active in many construction-related organizations. Earlier this year, Lauren was named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Women in Law.
