Taft partner Evan Priestle will present at the 2021 Team Collaboration Conference: Finance, Facilities, and Safety Planning, a virtual event hosted by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) and Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) on Feb. 23. His session titled “Accommodating Disabilities and Workplace Safety” will include a discussion on the increased focus this past year with COVID-19’s impact on the workplace and the overlap of employers’ obligations to provide reasonable accommodations with workplace safety issues.

Priestle is a member of Taft’s Employment and Labor Relations group and counsels and represents both public and private employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. His experience includes representing all manner of clients in lawsuits and administrative charges involving race, sex, age, and disability discrimination, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
