Taft Indianapolis Real Estate partner Erick D. Ponader has been named to the 2018 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by Midwest Real Estate News magazine. Ponader was one of 80 professionals from across the Midwest selected for this honor.

According to MWRN Editor Dan Rafter, “Our Hall of Fame members, when asked to explain their career success, almost always point to had work, providing top customer service and market knowledge. Even though all of them are incredibly busy, most of them give back to both their industry and their communities.”

Ponader represents clients in commercial law and real estate development, acquisition, sale, leasing and financing. He has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of businesses, intellectual property licensing, trademark law, construction law, aviation law, and medical device and pharmaceutical law.

He is involved with the Meridian Street Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization that supports the preservation of the historic, scenic and aesthetic character of Indianapolis’ North Meridian Street area.

Ponader received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology and his J.D. from Indiana University-Bloomington.
