The article discussed the Second Circuit ruling that blocked Pfizer’s proposal to help middle-income Medicare beneficiaries afford a heart drug. The ruling creates a tough regulatory barrier against pharmaceutical companies that seek to partially cover the costs of medications for patients in federal health-care programs.
