Taft Construction chair Earl K. Messer was interviewed on Oct. 5 for the BusinessWatch segment presented by the Cincinnati Business Courier. Messer promoted the Spirit of Construction Gala, discussing his role as chair of the 19^th annual event, to be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center on Saturday, Oct. 18.

A true celebration of the construction industry, more than $400,000 is expected to be raised at the gala. Proceeds will be utilized to promote the construction trades in schools and will fund scholarships for students and military and non-military personnel interested in pursuing construction careers. In addition, the career achievements of select individuals and their lifetime contributions to the industry will be highlighted at the gala.
