Meister will present “Protecting Your Gifts and Assets – a Litigator’s View” at the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council Conversation & Coffee event on September 20. She will share her perspective from 28 years of experience on ways to avoid litigation or, where it is inevitable, how charitable entities can survive and lessen the damage.

Meister is a partner in Taft’s Litigation, Private Client, and Health Care and Life Sciences groups and leads the firm’s Wealth Transfer Litigation practice. She counsels and represents clients in business, class action, commercial, estate, guardianship, trust and fiduciary matters and professional ethics and discipline matters before courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitrators. Meister is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and chair of its national Elder Law Committee. She is trained as a mediator through ACTEC and the Ohio Supreme Court.
