Julia B. Meister, head of Taft’s Wealth Transfer Litigation practice, and a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Private Client, and Health Care and Life Sciences groups, will speak at the American Law Institute CLE Seminar, “Representing Estate and Trust Beneficiaries and Fiduciaries 2022,” on Nov. 18. Meister will present “License to Steal? POA Abuse and Remedies,” which will cover the legislation and case law on powers of attorney with particular attention to agent (fiduciary) conduct and review of the same in courts.
