Meister to Present at OSBA Marvin R. Pliskin Advanced Probate and Estate Planning Seminar
Julia B. Meister, head of the Taft’s Wealth Transfer Litigation practice, and a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Private Client, and Health Care and Life Sciences groups, is a presenter at the Ohio State Bar Association’s Marvin R. Pliskin Advanced Probate and Estate Planning Seminar held on Friday, Sept. 17.
Meister will co-present with the Honorable Robert N. Rusu, Jr.; Judge, Mahoning County Probate Court; Youngstown. They will provide “Commentary to Model Rule 1.14: Client With Diminished Capacity (Professional Conduct)” from 3:15–4:15 p.m. Their presentation is part of the daylong CLE program that will feature expert faculty providing updates on House Bill 7 and other statutory law changes, the tax aspects of trust termination and modification, planning with retirement assets under the Secure Act, and more.
