Taft attorneys Julia Meister and Sara Simrall Rorer spoke at an event sponsored by The Greater Cincinnati Health Council on April 20th. Their topic was on health care decision-making and ethics. The program described procedures for determining and honoring surrogate health care decision-making, explaining the current interpretation, statutes and rules governing end-of-life decisions and "Do Not Resuscitate," and they discussed the role of an Ethics Committee in health care organizations.
