Taft attorney Robert W. McDonald received the Boy Scouts of America Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award, which recognizes outstanding service by an adult individual or organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for youth from rural or low-income urban backgrounds.

McDonald is an partner in Taft's Business & Finance group. He is also a co-founder of The Brandery, a top 10 business accelerator. McDonald serves on the board of directors of the Dan Beard Council (Boy Scouts of America), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO).
