Taft partner Ann O’Connor McCready has been named a Forty Under 40 honoree by the Indianapolis Business Journal. Honorees are selected based on their demonstration of leadership, initiative, and dedication in pursuing their careers. McCready and other honorees were recognized at an awards event on June 1. McCready is a partner in Taft’s Litigation practice group and counsels clients on litigation matters that span a variety of areas, including business and contract disputes, complex environmental and toxic tort litigation, intellectual property disputes, products liability claims, securities, and white-collar criminal litigation. McCready also serves as the co-chair of the Indianapolis Women of Taft affinity group. She has been recognized by her peers for her accomplishments and is recognized as one of the “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers in America® for commercial litigation. McCready was named an Illinois Rising Star in 2014 and 2015 and has been an Indiana Rising Star since 2017. She was also recognized as an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2018 by The Indiana Lawyer and was a finalist in the law category for the 2020 Indy’s Best and Brightest Awards.
