Taft partner Ann O’Connor McCready has joined the American Cancer Society’s ResearcHERS: Women Fighting Cancer of Indiana as an ambassador of the campaign. The ResearcHERS campaign brings together the community’s most influential female leaders to raise funds to fuel the work of women scientists. The purpose is to sustain women-led career research and to recognize the female trailblazers in the field.

McCready counsels clients on litigation matters that span a variety of areas, including business and contract disputes, complex environmental and toxic tort litigation, intellectual property disputes, products liability claims, securities and white-collar criminal litigation. She maintains a diverse caseload, and her experience includes several federal appeals. McCready has been recognized by her peers for her accomplishments and is active in the community. She is currently co-chair of the Integrating Women Leaders Foundation’s 2020 Conference Committee, a member of the Dress for Success Stepping Out in Style Executive Leadership Team, and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy Committee.
