The Business Courier quoted Margaret Lawson in an article describing a new franchising program developed by Quiznos. The program allows pre-approved operating partners to pay just $5,000 up front instead of the normal $25,000 franchising fee. Ms. Lawson noted that the program “could be a huge benefit for people with restaurant experience who can’t get access to capital in this economy” and that “‘the banks have (food franchises) on the “do not touch” list right now.'”
