Managing Partner Terp Quoted in Cincinnati Business Courier Article
Taft Managing Partner Thomas T. Terp was quoted in the article "Corporate Cincinnati Needs Lawyers," which was published on Jan. 23 in the Cincinnati Business Courier. The article discusses the trend of in-house counsel offices growing to reduce costs, resulting in less growth for many large law firms. Terp reported that Taft has continued to grow in recent years, as corporate clients have continued to rely on the specialized services that the firm offers. He also said: “We've secured important new clients and significant volumes of premium, non-commodity work that used to go to larger, more expensive firms from New York and other money center cities. Corporate law departments….are learning that they can get superior service at a firm like ours for significantly lower cost.”
Terp concentrates on commercial litigation and environmental matters and represents clients throughout the United States, frequently in precedent-setting litigation. He also has advised clients on environmental issues in connection with real estate transfers, loan transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
