Taft partner Melissa Macchia authored the article “Are noncompetes standing on shaky ground?” which was published by The Indiana Lawyer on Aug. 18. The article discusses the shift in the use and enforceability of noncompetition agreements, including the Biden Administration’s push for federal reform of noncompete law.

Macchia is a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor Relations practice group and COVID-19 Evolving Workplace Task Force. She concentrates her practice in employment law, with a particular emphasis on prevention and defense of employment-based litigation.
