Taft partner Sarah Clay Leyshock co-authored the article “When Employers Hear #MeToo: Top 10 Tips on How to Respond” for The Woman Advocate, an ABA newsletter. In the article, Leyshock discusses how it is not enough to only conduct sexual harassment training.
With extensive experience in the higher education, hospital, restaurant and staffing industries, Leyshock represents employers in all types of matters involving state and federal employment laws. She has significant knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA and Title VII compliance and litigation. Leyshock conducts employee workplace investigations; provides personnel, compliance and risk management advice; drafts employment policies and legal documents; litigates (typically defends) on behalf of the employer; and regularly resolves charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights.
