Lee Anne Sapp Represents Forsyth County in $3B NHL Mixed-Use Project Agreements
Lee Anne Sapp represented Forsyth County and the Forsyth County Development Authority in negotiating the project agreements for The Gathering at South Forsyth, a $3 billion mixed-use development aimed at attracting an NHL team.
The project will include commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, and entertainment spaces, in addition to an 18,000-seat arena. This project is a major step in bringing a professional hockey team back to Atlanta, which has been without a team since 2011, when the Atlanta Thrashers relocated to Winnipeg, Canada. The development is expected to generate significant economic benefits, including job creation and infrastructure improvements.
