Wallace noted that many buyers are “hitting the pause button” on mergers and acquisitions. He also noted that investors are taking a “wait-and-see” approach. “I have a number of investors who are what you would call angel investors, and they have ratcheted back their investment appetite, and even in reviewing potential investment opportunities, because they want to sit on cash for the time being,” Wallace stated.
