Sherman & Howard attorney John Melcon’s article about a federal court striking the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) guidance on the use of transgender bathroom and pronoun policies has appeared in Law Week Colorado.

The guidance explained that employees should be permitted to use bathrooms and locker rooms corresponding to their gender identities, but 20 states sued the EEOC. A federal court recently blocked that guidance and blocked the EEOC from enforcing that guidance.
