Colom and Klingler Leveque Author Article in Indiana Lawyer
Taft attorneys Kiamesha Colom and Katelyn Klingler Leveque authored the article “What real estate brokers should know from the 2025 state legislature,” which was published on June 18 in The Indiana Lawyer. The article features discussion on key pieces of legislation that will be relevant to several aspects of brokers’ practices.

Colom serves as the Real Estate practice group lead for the Indianapolis office. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, sale leaseback transactions, and real estate municipality work), real estate lending and commercial finance transactions, and related business transactions. Colom serves on Taft’s Inclusion and Opportunity Committee and on the board of directors for the Eskenazi Health Foundation, Eskenazi Health Centers, Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Indianapolis, and has held numerous other leadership positions.
Klingler Leveque is an attorney in Taft’s Indianapolis office with a focus on real estate law. Her experience includes a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting real estate purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, and commercial leases. She also conducts title and survey reviews, assists clients with filing zoning and land use petitions, drafts operating agreements, and handles other corporate documents and filings.
