Kennedy Appointed to Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism

Taft Chicago partner John F. Kennedy has been selected to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism. The commission was established to cultivate increased civility, professionalism, and inclusiveness among lawyers and judges in Illinois. Kennedy was one of three new commissioners appointed by the Court for a three-year term.

Kennedy concentrates his practice on litigation involving commercial disputes, trade secrets, corporate and partnership disputes, fiduciary duties, restrictive covenants, land use, government authority, construction, real estate, and employment law. He has significant experience in assisting clients with various business emergencies. For the last 30 years, Kennedy has been a member of the Federal Trial Bar and tried cases to judgment in both state and federal courts.
