Kaplan Presents to Dan Beard Council Planned Giving Committee
Taft attorney Aaron H. Kaplan presented to the planned giving committee of the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America on March 22. He discussed the impact of the recent tax reform law on charitable giving and shared insight on estate planning techniques in the new tax environment. The Dan Beard Council prepares youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouting provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness.
Kaplan focuses his practice on estate planning, probate administration and trust administration, providing counsel to individuals, families, small businesses and tax-exempt organizations.
