Joseph Parker Appointed By American College Of Trial Lawyers To Serve On Canada United States Committee

Cincinnati, OH – R. Joseph Parker, a partner in the Litigation Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP has been appointed by the American College of Trial Lawyers to serve on the Canada-United States Committee. The committee investigates areas of common interest between Canada and the United States, and plans for and monitors activities in those areas of common concern.

American College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Invitation to Fellowship is extended only after careful investigation to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been manifested by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.

Parker, a resident of Columbia Tusculum, is the current chair of the firm's Appellate Practice Group and has extensive experience in lead role litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration and negotiation. The emphasis of his practice has been complex and general commercial litigation. He has been lead defense counsel in a number of class action cases.

Parker is an alumnus of Boston College School of Law where he was Order of Coif and a law review editor. He graduated from Georgetown University with his undergraduate degree. Parker is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine.
